Don't like and won't go to the London Fair.

Congratulations on your fab knitting!OzBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04405287299000183343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29550002.post-7157485200373187842008-09-02T22:00:00.000-04:002008-09-02T22:00:00.000-04:004 Ribbons out of 5 entries - Way to Go Laurie!! I'm glad to see there are others that think the way I do.)

Our local Fair has turned into more of a way to sell hot tubs than the Agriculture Event it use to be. The Hot Tub displays pushed the Horticulture exhibits and contests out of the open air Pavilion that was specially built for Horticulture. I'm sad to see sales events take over everything; our kids are really missing out.CChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10786833246368049469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29550002.post-61717354349336818552008-09-02T21:55:00.000-04:002008-09-02T21:55:00.000-04:00Congratulations!!!!!It reminds me of the fairs I'v...Congratulations!!!!!

It reminds me of the fairs I've gone to up in the Gold Country here in California and the Lincoln County Fair up in Montana.beadlizardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03345991066699824794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29550002.post-83640768906920594562008-09-02T20:29:00.000-04:002008-09-02T20:29:00.000-04:00How cool is that? Congrats on the ribbons.

I'm really sad to hear that the Western Fair won't have anything; I always go and look to see what you've got entered. Even the CNE in Toronto still has knitting, quilting and other crafts, although I think Harrow does a better job of it.

Thanks for sharing!knitty_kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04742421806128384617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29550002.post-82412077171704492032008-09-02T15:15:00.000-04:002008-09-02T15:15:00.000-04:00I thought I recognized that stuff! I hope it's still around for its 200th anniversary (that I am too, come to that).

It will be neat to see what happens if lace knitting gets its own category. I guess I should finish spinning the yarn for my shawl so I can enter that next year.heavenlyevilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08744536108490485628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29550002.post-2790737398249755782008-09-02T10:05:00.000-04:002008-09-02T10:05:00.000-04:00That is too cool. Funny how those things get ingrained in our minds!Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13161498569856503977noreply@blogger.com
