    Dear Laurie,

Hope your anniversary was a good one. I am writing to you from the Shetland Library. They offer free internet service to members and visitors alike. Yesterday was our visit to Jamieson and Smith the wool brokers and a talk by Oliver the wool man. Fascinating. We all had to make two trips to the yarn shop there. The first was too overwhelming to make a purchase decision. The second was to buy too much. Some of us are heading back today to buy the stuff we wished we had bought yesterday. I belong to this last group too. The variety of quality knitting goods for sale in Lerwick is overwhelming too. I can't seem to stop buying stuff. I hope I can still lift my suitcase.

  9. Happy, Happy Anniversary! I hope you two had a wonderful day. (Sorry this is two days late - my computer is still in a state of flux) I'm very happy for you!

  11. Congratulations!

(None of my marriages lasted that long. In fact, the first two marriage durations? I had cans of food in my pantry that lasted longer.)

    Enjoy the wine!
