Satisfaction

Oh yes, I am well satisfied with these socks.

Pattern: Clessidra from Knitty, Spring 2007
Yarn: Sheepjes Invicta Extra less than 3 balls
Needles: 2.25 mm
Modifications: none

This is how I will be seeing them most often. Jim is a good person to knit socks for because he most often wears them in the evening while he watches TV. I'm hard on socks because I wear them all day, every day. But he can't have these yet, I'm going to save them for the Fair. I still have to go through the prize book to see what the categories are!

  2. I'd love to have worthy subject for my socks, but the only one that likes to wear them is me most the time. The others go for the white tennis socks from the store.

  3. Well, I know that you're going to win a ribbon or two at the Fair. Those are THE prettiest socks I've ever soon. Great job!

  7. They're beautiful! But I have trouble wearing knee socks. They never stay up. Wish I knew how to keep them up. Good luck at the Fair. I love entering Fairs also but it's been a few years now. Maybe I'll put my tea cozy in this year ...

  10. I'm saving mine for our country fair in August as well. They're putting some new categories in this year, including a sock only one.
First, they need to be finished though!
    Love the color of yours.

  11. County fair, that is. Although, it is out in the country.

  12. I wandered over from the Clessidra KAL to admire your gorgeous pair and imagine my surprise to discover that we live in the same city! I didn't even know that Western Fair has a competition for knitting. This gives me a reason to brave the crowds.
