Snow Day

It doesn't happen often, but every once in a while we get so much snow in such a short time that even we Canadians have to call a snow day. London schools are closed and people have been advised to stay off the roads so that the snow plows can clear the streets. I've put some more pictures up on Flickr.

It couldn't have happened on a nicer Friday.

  1. Snow was meant for children! What is better than a 'snow' day when you are a child? Nothing, I say. Wish I could enjoy it as much as a child, but ours is now not as pretty as yours.

Weather here is cold and sunny but no snow. Since the internet is still working, so am I.

  3. Wow! I was just in St. Marys on Wednesday. I guess I should count myself lucky that I left when I did so as not to get stranded. Have fun and enjoy the day!

  4. Enjoy your Friday - mine was like that last week Friday, although with admittedly less snow than y'all received!

  6. Wow, serious snow! I'm jealous! Glad you all got a snow day. I love the hat you knit for your husband. I've seen Charlene Schurch's name all over the place this week, for some reason. She's teaching a fair isle class next year at the John C. Campbell folk school in N.C., so I may just have to sign up for that one! I can't wait to see your finished Eunny mittens -- I'll bet they'll be beautiful.
