Needless to say, there's not much knitting getting done these days. Last week, the poison ivy rash got in my way so I was reading more than knitting. Harry Potter, of course. I just picked up volume 7 today, and I'm about one fifth of the way in. I'm trying to savour it a bit.
While the rash isn't gone, it is mostly better, but now Dexter is keeping me busy. I'm not sure about him around the knitting just now, so I started a sock that is easily picked up, put down, and fixed should a stitch or two be dropped. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture while the light was good.
But at least I'm not the only tired one.
Dexter is such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new addition to the household! I love this picture -- what a great shot! Keep us posted on how everyone settles in. The crate is a great idea. Now that I know the wonders of crate training, I wouldn't raise a dog without one. And the books are right; the little beasties eventually go lay in the crate for the fun of it if you leave the door open!
ReplyDeleteThere's no place like home.
ReplyDeletePriceless ! A picture truly is worth a thousand words . Good luck all, I'm sure Dexter will settle in fairly quickly and become a member of the family.
ReplyDeleteI love this picture of Dexter! Doesn't like other dogs too well, ay? He must be the jealous type.
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure with my dog around my knitting either, but I manage to put it up every time and I haven't made many socks lately, which she loves to kill/eat.
